Course Description
Looking for an activity that provides mental stimulation, physical exercise, and social interaction? Modern square dancing is all that and more! The purpose of this course is to teach the basics of square dancing. Once you have completed the course, you can dance anywhere in the country. Join us for two fun 4-hour classes. Dance from 10-2 with a break for a light potluck lunch, (bring a dish to share if you'd like). Partners are welcomed, but not necessary. In order to attend the 2nd class, you must complete the 1st one. Participants will be invited to join us on Thursday evenings for a square dance where they can dance what they've learned.
After the first 2 classes, we encourage you to complete the course by attending the 3rd and 4th class.
