Course Description

Come listen to Mike Somer talk about Purple Sage Farm, started over 35 years ago by his parents. They grow over 250 varieties of organic herbs, greens and vegetables promoting both diversity of crops and diversity of microbiology in the soil. Their compost is sourced by their sheep and they use minimal tillage practices. The result of the care and attention paid to their soil is a fresh, tasty crop high in nutritional value and flavor. Yum!
