Course Description
The Ada County Landfill was engineered to last 100 years. With growth in the Treasure Valley, it’s essential that we find ways to extend the life of the landfill. A growing community means more trash. How can we extend the life of our landfill and reduce its environmental impact? Strengthen your knowledge of curbside recycling, discuss local diversion options, and learn more about how a modern landfill operates. This class is not a tour. Tours of the Ada County Landfill can be set up through the instructor.
